Move, breathe and meditate to cultivate calm.
- 10 min of gentle movement and stretching to prepare the body/mind for meditation
- 15 min of pranayama (breathwork) to prepare the nervous system/mind for meditation
- 35 min of guided meditation to cultivate awareness.
No prior experience is necessary, although it will be helpful if you can sit or kneel during the class.
IMPORTANT - meditation is NOT recommended for people with PTSD, C-PTSD, people with acute anxiety or experiencing acute distress. There will be no personalised support available in these sessions.
This is a three-month trial to test interest in meditation—there is no guarantee that this class will continue beyond August.
